First of all I normally don't write reviews on products, but since these work out so well, and I discover that they are more flexible than I thought, I would be able to help someone else. I saw these at a friends house, so I order them up, but I didn't take in consideration was the placement of the electrical boxes that the builder put in. the two front boxes were prefect and the brackets worked slick with the cover plates. but the builder didn't put electrical boxes in the rear area. But I found that the bracket is truly flexible, since you can use the bracket without the plate and directly mount it to the wall or ceiling so the install look clean and professional.

I have larger Onkyo speakers that include 5.1 speakers and a pretty entry level receiver. The speakers weigh within spec of what these mounts are designed to hold, but I was worried none the less. I installed my mounts to the j-boxes that existed in the ceiling for my surround sound pre-wire. The mounts are holding my speakers with no issues. The installation looks clean and impresses my friends and my wife (very important). Over all this product is awesome. I would not hesitate to buy these again.

Most of the ones in this price range are plastic and can't support any real weight! They are easy to install and fit perfectly over the electrical box so the installation is nice and clean vs. covering up the elecrical box and attaching the speaker above or below. Thanks for a great product!!!

I purchased these mounts since my house was pre-wired for surround. There are junction boxes where the speakers should be mounted. I purchasing the Polk Audio RM6751 speakers. These speakers will work with either the single threaded insert or the keyhole. The illustrations in the instructions are not very clear but once I figured it out, the mounting was a piece of cake. There are small screws that tighten and loosen so that you can turn the speakers the way you want which is pretty awesome. great product for mounting to a single-gang junction box.

Great Mounts |

I purchased these mounts for my energy CB5 speakers and they are simple great. The mounts allows for twisting, turning, angling. Also, the mounts come with a long 4" pole to hang the speakers from the ceiling. I liked that I have the same mount for the ceiling and wall, it looks very custom and slick.
Mounting was easy, removed the tip that attaches to the speaker, then the nut on the back of the post, replacing the standard wall plate with the adapter plate for the electrical box wall. Attach the plate to the outlet box with the 2 screws provided and the mount is ready for the speaker. I attached the mounting tip to the speaker with the 1/4-20 bolt provided and then I replaced the tip into the mount and tightened the allen screw down. Made the final angle adjustments and tightened down the 2 allen nuts and was done.
I highly recommend these mounts if you are mounting your speakers in a room that has the pre-wired locations for the speakers.
